For anyone who didn't see it
The video doesn’t do it any justice - to be fair it was better from row B... maybe you need to be up close to appreciate the full effect

Fuck me, you're a bunch of miserable bastards.
I say good on the club for trying something modern. Some of you miserable old thats will find anything to moan at and slag the club off.
It's 2019 FFS...
I said same to wife it looked good don't get me wrong, but it's all down to PL razzmatazz and sadly United must be seen to be complying with it.Pathetic.
Like a One Direction concert. It's a fucking football game.
This old codger isn't but really does football need lighting up like a mardi gras festival, as I said it's the way football going now, what on earth happened to plain black boots, shaking hands after the game and not sticking tongues down throat when they score, don't get me going on hair styles and pissing "man buns".Looked great, part of the game now, only the old codgers seem to be moaning
I’ve seen all sorts at football matches that were supposed to be ‘entertainment’ such as marching bands, dancing girls and I have a vague recollection of cars being driven around the side of the pitch by one of our sponsors (is this true or is it one of those false memories you seem to get when you get past fifty?).
It’s for kids. As I said in another thread, I remember being taken into town as a kid to see the Christmas lights. I don’t think they even flashed. Seemed good at the time though.
Have you seen some of the hairstyles they had in the seventies? Currie looked like a girl and Hockey looked like the bearded lady.I said same to wife it looked good don't get me wrong, but it's all down to PL razzmatazz and sadly United must be seen to be complying with it.

Bush saw them every week mate and Hockey was hard as nails, he had long hair and beard and had a head band thing in his hair. It wouldn't bother me if TC came out swinging his bollocks he was brilliant, and as for players now if they put as much into their game as appearance they may get better results. It's like a pansy's parade on the pitch sometimes I was at hospital a few months ago, and bloke testing me had a man bun I told him he looked a twat.Have you seen some of the hairstyles they had in the seventies? Come on, Currie were always kissing blokes and Hockey had a velvet car or something. I remember old men of the day calling them pansies. Nowt changes.Bush saw them every week mate and Hockey was hard as nails, he had long hair and beard and had a head band thing in his hair. Don't know how I'm supposed to react. I would've thought the hundred and fifty years of floodlights would have made the novelty of turning them on and off less not more.
Currie kissed Birchenhall once it made world wide news and was funny ATT, I'll agree that Hockey was slightly an oddball but great player did you not see them play mate. As you say now't changes I was young then now I'm old so see it same way, I'm grumpy and I accept that my family does. Other week our young neighbour was playing his music I said if you want some decent music I've got loads out of charts, been out of charts 30 or 40 years.Come on, Currie were always kissing blokes and Hockey had a velvet car or something. Maybe it`s the Fat win Bonus that makes them Horny or a little Frisky![]()

Sean I loved Ben Sherman's and sta prest, also had a Harrington jacket and a Crombie as for Prince of Wales check adored it mate. Always wanted a Barathea but never got one, also loved Brogues & Loafers with tasstles on.How did we go from Ben Shermans and Sta Prest, then patchwork jumpers and Prince of Wales checked trousers to that?

For those in their seats by half-seven would see a fantastic light show ,{no wonder the lights went out at Burton after all that lot} , looked good from Southstand any complaints /moans etc
Probably because in the stands, you're under the lights anyway, for safety reasons. Further down you go the less lit you are I suppose.
Safety reasons ? What’s the reason ? Them flood lights are dazzling sat in south stand, I see what everyone else was on about now
Nope it actually happened. The fella had to drive a car in the gap between the ad boards and the south stand. Think the hardest bit of winning the car was having to watch the fella reversing it the same way in the hope he didn’t scratch the paintwork.
In fact thinking about it, surely it would have been better for a fan to have to try and reverse it out and if they did successfully they got to take the car away with them.
