Anticlimax really, since it was touted a good while ago when we got the new lights. I thought there'd be colour changes or summat, but good for the kids.

Outside possiblility we'll not use it again all season, FA Cup games are Saturday afternoons, maybe early evening, and unless we get a home Monday/Friday Night Football there aren't any league night games.

I’ve seen all sorts at football matches that were supposed to be ‘entertainment’ such as marching bands, dancing girls and I have a vague recollection of cars being driven around the side of the pitch by one of our sponsors (is this true or is it one of those false memories you seem to get when you get past fifty?).

It’s for kids. As I said in another thread, I remember being taken into town as a kid to see the Christmas lights. I don’t think they even flashed. Seemed good at the time though.
