I think it's safe to agree that a player would have to do absolutely nothing right to get 1/10 in a match, and complete every pass, create a chance on goal with every pass, not miss a tackle, win every aerial challenge and score with every shot to get 10/10.

6/10 suggests you were okay, some mistakes, solid but unspectacular. 7/10, generally good all round.

Bizarrely, despite being on the end of an 8-0 thrashing at the weekend, Watford's Gerard Deulofeu received a rating of 7/10 for his performance in the match. Why? Because he completed 13 of his 14 passes.

The icing on the cake of this is that 8 of his completed passes were straight from the kick off following Man City scoring!
