We do have a game tomorrow after all

Can't see anything to take Umbridge at apart from the one long direct comment.

If we were playing Stoke at home tomorrow that's pretty much how I would view things.

"I’m hoping we blow them away but think they will cause us a lot of problems playing basic direct football.”

oh... we back to playing direct basic football , to CW - "are you Warnock? are you Warnock? are you Warnock in disguise?" what a load of bollocks, most comments sensible, but always one tit among them!!

"Doesn’t formed next big thing at Everton lundstram play for them? My prediction, he plays a decent 6/10 game, and people lose their minds saying how they can’t believe we’ve let another superstar slip away.
We’ll win but nothing is easy at the moment.”

Love the comment above, it's like the McNulty and Ched threads over recent years on Blades forums.

they really have taken the bait of basic football, we have to take a points of these with Liverpool next week. I think we are very capable defence was shocking v bournemouth

Cheers Roy

last time we were there in the prem it was such a easy game for them - non existent attack from us as usual under NW in away games , only moved past the half way line when they were already wining 2-0 and we were down to 10 men - game was over by 30 mins ( well under NW away it was !)

cracking support by us blades fans throughout though , with a 90 min rendition of 'when the blades go marching'

I always thought of Everton as been similar to us, the more decent, less “massive “ self importance side in their city
But most comments on there are what I would expect from Liverpool or ManC!
What have Everton done in the last few years to give them the Billy big bollox attitude?
They are the “meh” team in the prem, won’t worry top6, won’t go down.
Maybe they have to get excited about this as their season only lasts till Feb when they realise another season of midtable mediocrity has taken place
Hope we beat them with style, although if we do it will have been their “worst performance for years” of course

I was three months old the last time they won something.

I know we can't talk, but that's a long time to finish mid/upper table in the PL. They're exactly the type of team who should target cup competitions.

They're outlay over the past few years since the Koeman appointment has them thinking they're a top 6 club. They've spent an absolute bucketload, yet the performances on the pitch are dull as.

Over that time since they sold lukaku they've bought:

Moise Kean 28m
CEnk Tosun 23m
Richarlison 40m
Sandro 6m

So 100m on strikers yet they still play fekkin DCL as a lone striker.

I can see why many of their comments refer to them being as dull as ditch water.

Then we have their manager, the media love him, he's well respected, well rated, he's from Portugal, he has an exotic name.........but he's utter garbage playing dull percentage football. They hounded Allardyce out (who they had a far superior win percentage under), but this guy for some reason is great.

He'd not get a job in football if his name was Mark Silver.

"5 games in and I could barely care tbh.”

“We’ll probably win but who’s arsed?”

Chilling reminders of what it must be like for the Evertons of this world. Over 2 decades of bobbing along in a vast ocean, watching ships pass you by in both directions. The odd school of dolphins and passing storm to raise the excitement temporarily but generally becalmed and going gradually insane.

Give me SUFC and the highs and lows over that depressing shitshow any time.

“We will dominate them in possession , pint drinking and booooing
can only see one result ..
NIL NIL”

Got to love the positive vibe, cheers Roy.

TBH Roy you could just cut and paste this in for every pre match view from this season and save yourself a lot of time and trouble.

Glad to be back to the footy. Some of their comments fail to appreciate our performances so far this season. We may just give them a surprise.

Look at it this way, if 5 seasons ago you were telling Evertonians you were planning on a NET SPEND of 300m over the next 5 years, you would be extremely excited.

THey've done exactly that.....and are playing Dominic Calvert Lewin up front.

I think we'd all be pissed off lol.
