We shouldn't get too hung up on this 'direct' label.
When Norwood is pinging his 40 yard diagonals to the overlapping wingbacks, who pull a ball back from the goal line for Robinson to tap in, that's pretty direct, and we love it.
Huge difference between being direct and lumping hopeful balls into the box, which is what most people do when they need a goal in the last few minutes.
We are more direct than we were, to be fair, and mainly because of Norwood.

If you do a Bergen-style analysis of the goals Everton have conceded this season and especially against Bournemouth, best bet is McB and Mous up front. Lump it forward and see if they'll gift us a goal or two. Defender knocks it down under pressure from McB, but then they don't know what to do with it. Enda and Jack put 'em under and whip it across for Mousset to roll in at the back post. Simples. That's what I'd do
