To do that you either need a back 4 or only have 2 in midfield

Done absolutely nothing wrong, the midfield has been fine, Fleck got put back which made us less incisive as he isn't as quick or able to take on and turn a man.

We've used that a lot with Freeman.

What’s the issue with Morrison. Why is he not getting a look in?. Mousse needs to start at Everton. We’ve created numerous chances today and missed them all.

What has Morrison done to get a look in? Granted limited minutes. Blackburn game he somehow got man of the match (wasn’t my pick) but all of them were poor.

Unless I am mistaken he wasn’t on the bench again today. There must be something that wilder is seeing in training/off the pitch to leave him out of the squad.

The midfield wasn’t too much of an issue today. Missing chances up top cost us the game.

Jags would make sense from a sentimental point of view as well as footballing one should we need to see the game out for a draw or hopefully a win. A more defensive mindset is required for our away games in general anyway.

I would play Robinson and Mousset up top with a flat 3 midfield and hit them on the break. Be disciplined and soak it up, defend well, then look to counter with pace. Fleck and Lunny NEED to support the strikers when we do break though otherwise they’ll be very isolated. Having mousse on will mean their centre halves will have to be pretty deep which should mean we can look to control the possession a bit more.

If we cut out the individual errors we’ll win.
