...well over 6 feet in my view.
We'll have to get rid of Paddy then. He's only 6 foot.
(Or 5' 12" as he was listed on the OS for two years. You really can't get the staff these days...)

This is because young people (anyone under 35) have been taught how to count in new money![]()
Hodgkinson was too small to ever make it as a professional goalkeeperBunn > Hodgkinson then?
.....
No kidding. I've no idea how many cubits there are in a fathom (or something). Can't even do pounds and ounces.
As for how old money worked, I'm just amazed that anyone knew how to buy anything. Miraculous.
There are 6.32 fathoms in a furlong and 3.09 cubits per furlong.
Also if you divide £1 by the number of guineas that Hodgy earned per week and then multiply this by a farthing you can calcualte any amount of new money into £ s d.
Finally, the easiest way to measure distance in feet and inches is to borrow an old fashioned tape measure from someone and measure the length of your feet in inches. Then doing heel toe walking you can work out any distance as long as you keep in mind that 3.765 feet is equal to one chain.
Hope that helps.
Shay Given is 6 foot 1.
We're never going to agree on Bunny, but I assume we agree that United are a reasonably big fish in CCC terms. Why then should we put up with, to paraphrase your own words - a young player who we know will make mistakes but can improve, in such a vitally important position?
Bunn would be ideal as a back-up to an experienced, tall keeper.
Yes, this is true. But Iker Casillas, who is arguably better than Given and possibly the best in the world, is under 6 foot.
Additionally Fabian Barthez (world cup, european championship, champions league winner) was less than 6 foot. Not only that but he was prone to the odd error. Which just goes to show that small keepers can make errors and still be top class.
Ah yes I'm not making the point that you have to be over six foot to be a good 'Keeper, just that there is a myth that Given is pretty sure (He certainly gives that impression, somehow) when actually he's well above average height.
