Actually talked a lot of sense after the match about us not playing at our best and resorting to more direct football after the first goal, although it's easy to do so when you've won 3-0. And yes, I know he's had a good win ratio and took us to Wembley etc etc, but our performances this season have been very poor far too often... and he does talk bollocks most of the time.

That said, he's really starting to remind me of the way Warnock started poorly and gradually improved. Don't get me wrong, there are a number of managers who I'd take in his place tomorrow, but I'm slowly ridding myself of the urge to self harm whenever I hear his voice or see his face.

If they were a team of premier league players they would be playing in the Premier League instead they are 2nd bottom in the Championship and not really very good. I thought it was the "hostility" with Paul Walker you was bothered about?

To be honest, what would we really gain as fans by knowing the full ins and outs of every injury, with updates on the way to the match as to their exact fitness?

Would you have rather he'd told the world that Wardy was starting? He said he was more or less back to full fitness, but refused to comment on who would be starting the game. I'd rather he kept the opposition guessing to be honest.

Given that he doesn't want to release his team news what exactly is he supposed to say when asked specific questions about specific players ?

Siep - could be out for up to 6 weeks - still true
Williamson - not too bad but likely to be 1/2 weeks - he had a fitness test last night but failed it - still true
Ward - not back to full fitness but close - could well be true

This just goes to show that he will ultimately be judged by results. IMO he hasn't changed, his team selections haven't changed, his tactics haven't changed since he took over, more people hated him back in October, some are 'turning' now, just down to results.

Did you consider, even for a moment, that we might be trying to wrong-foot the opposition by concealing who might play, and who might not..?

Personally, when we turn up and find Jamie 'Out for three weeks' Ward with his kit on ready to play, my first reaction is that I'm pleased he is available and playing, not anger that I have been 'lied to'...

I tend not to listen to pre match interviews so frankly couldn't give a shite one way or the other, but surely you're not suggesting that we are so worried about our opponents that we dare not reveal our team on radio Sheffield a whole hour before the team sheet has to be given in?
Or is it that there are "moles" at RS who will be straight on to any of our opponents as soon as they have a snippet of information? I'll bet it's Giddins!

If we were coming up against a team with a good long throw man, then yes I would expect we (and we do) spend time practicing defending long throws. Thats normal. If it was announced that the long throw specialist was out for a month, do you think there is a chance that the opposition might not practice as much and thereby give an advantage? Do you think they might even decide a different formation, then on the night they find out he's playing. Yes they have an hour to react, but not if they've changed the team selection to account for the 'injured' player. It can also give crowd and team a boost to know their hero is playing after all.

Its call 'gamesmanship'. Why do you think the posts of the ITK 'here is tomorrow's team' were deleted from BU and other places. In football you dont have to be 50% better than the opposition to win. 1% better is often enough and how you get that 1% is irrelevant...

• Used more width
• Got more pace in the team
• Improved our counter attacking
• Made our players use more energy on attacking
• Made more long term signings
• Looked abroad more
• Actively tried to sell players at a time when we could get more from them.*

* (In Killa's situation this would have been last summer. In Walker's case, we should have held on to him for at least one more season. Players earning more than our wage budget allows (Naysmith, Beattie) should have been sold (if possible) as soon as possible.This money should then have been used on young, long term signings, rather than expensive loan signings and high earning 30 year olds.)

I appreciate your effort in explaining your thought process but if that were all true (and in Blackies world it may be) then why not simply put out completely false information?
Like I said, don't listen pre-match anyway.
