I think Freeman and Baldock will come back to be like the Billy Sharp situation.

Baldock overall for me is a better player

Freeman produces with assists and goals.

Freeman makes things happen and it’s that aspect that baldock is lacking. I would say though he looks like he has it in his locker when he gets more confidence of playing this formation

He bullied them down that wing. Was it McArthy that he put in his place second half? Loved the attitude from a Baldock. Not the tallest lad but you wouldn’t fuck with him

I have to say I was always relatively confident Baldock would be up to the premier league - very rarely gets dribbled past or beaten defensively. Had good pace and recovery speed which is going to be an asset at this level.

Potentially he could improve his output going forward but that would be the icing on the cake.

He can still improve on his decision-making in the final third, as highlighted by dallying too much after receiving the brilliant Norwood pass in the 2nd half, but I was really impressed with him today – a really good performance. Defensively strong, great energy, typically tidy when we worked it round the right.

I have never seen a shithouse side to Baldocks game before but he didn't show any respect to Premier league players. We'll need the right amount of that .
