Yes, we'll see. Duffy's range of passing isn't his main asset anyway. Robinson's link up play and awareness is excellent.

Duffy was great at drifting out to either flank and getting on the ball a lot. Robinson is a natural at doing that. He receives the ball very well and can quickly turn in any direction. Good end product, two footed, not greedy and has that burst of pace to beat defenders. All the attributes are there.

I'm certain they'll be coaching his ability to play that role because with experience he could be sensational there.

I'd stick with same lineup as Bournemouth, just with Freeman in.

Yes , they do have something different to Sharp , McBurnie and Robinson in that in the last two years between the two of them , they have scored just 4 goals and made even less assists .

Without checking , I'm guessing that in the same period , the former have scored over 80 goals and had at least 20 assists between them .

Different is not always better and , in this case , is demonstrably vastly inferior .

If by any chance 'Rav' and 'the Moose' were to play to play on a regular basis this season at the expense of any of the above then , in my view , there can only be one outcome . Fortunately , I don't believe CW /AK will allow that to happen .

You don't neccessarily need to score goals or directly provide assists to be a great midfield player.

I would be hard pressed to see anyone argue that our possession stats would decrease with Ravel on the field, in fact I would strongly wager that it would drastically increase.

His game is all about getting on the ball, keeping possession (cant even remember him being dispossessed even once in pre-season or much at any point of his career tbh), dictating the pace of the game and creating space, all with the bonus of having amazing talent.

This allows us to build pressure against opponents and let our defense move higher up the pitch with confidence.

And while he isn't an Aguero, its not exactly like he doesnt know how to find the back of the net either.

So yes, I would say with pretty good confidence that Morrison will help increase the number of goals we score, infact i would question your judgement for using a very basic thought process by suggesting anyone who isn't directly scoring or providing the assist means the team as a whole will score less.....

Not saying these two will play week in week out, they give options. Should Morrison live up to expectations and Mouse does same, things could liven up.
CW/AK have the chance to change the line up to suit games. I'd argue there is a bit more quality available.
Sometimes thought we needed a mad axe murderer in midfield. This Beswick, Bostick whatever he's called might just be him.
Much to look forwards to, and I still think Sharp will score 10 this year.
