Yeah, I was there. Strange to see him in another strip. He was OK, but came on after 60 minutes or so and didn’t really make the impact we know he can. Not settled in that team yet though.

Shame he wasn’t on the bench at Bournemouth.

That's a really harsh view of Duffy's time with us Metal. He got 6 goals and 7 assists last season and he was instrumental to how we played throughout his time. That's how I'll remember him for as well as the goal against Wednesday.

As far as I am concerned he was the most skillful player that we have had in a generation. You can never have too much quality and despite of all the talent we have signed in this window, his absence makes us weaker.

That’s how I see it too. One of my favourite ever Blades players...a real pleasure to watch and one of the main reasons why we gained promotion from league 1 to the PL. So in my book Duffy can do no wrong....and will always be a legend. Wish him well.

Was great in our promotion but I am not sure he was ever in Wilders plans for this season. That is why he got short shrift when he rocked up for a pay rise.

We’ve all had the missus in our ear saying we should be getting more money etc, perhaps he shouldn’t have listened to her but I am loathed to chuck rocks at him. Did a great job for us but I think had reached his peak last season.

I wish him all the luck in the world. But he’s 34 in October & Wilder’s brought in younger players for his position,Freeman,Morrison,Robinson etc. I think it would would’ve been highly unlikely that he would’ve been in the matchday squad very often. Now i’m reading this back to myself & thinking the same about Sharp & he came off the bench to save us today.

He’s been intrinsic to our revival and we should celebrate that he played for us and played a massive part. He’ll always be a blade in my eyes and will be welcomed by the club in future. Good luck to him, anyone who thinks otherwise obviously dont have much respect.
