The BBC have done it again.

I've just watched a recording of the BBC's new Monday Night Programme about the region's Football League clubs, and they showed the League Tables of every team, EXCEPT the one placed highest, i.e., us.

No doubt the Look Leeds shower at it again.

Disgraceful!

it was terrible, they dont have time to show the top of the table but at one point they just left the screen focusing on nothing playing the end of some daft tune for about 15 seconds. They showed more on the normal football league show than on that programme last night. They should just have highlights of the local teams on the red button so you could choose your team and get decent highlights rather than just the goals. I also couldnt give a dam what they're saying and would rather that time was taken up by extending the highlights.

Agreed this program was utter shite!

Having seen the current post MOTD programme and knowing the Look Leeds bias, I knew it would be complete bobbins, so I didn't bother watching or even sticking it on the sky+ record function.

Seems I got this one right! :)

Think yourself lucky, we get the Midlands version, hosted by Manish (he surely doesn't do them all does he?), with Robbie Savage and Darren Moore as sofa pundits. Not an original thought between them but at least they aren't the idiot Claridge.

The main match was Newcastle obviously, though they were playing WBA, so that's probably fair enough.

They did show part of the Championship table, though it only went down to 7th position and the rest was blank, no bottom half at all.

Curiously, they showed Chessie's goal and although it may be in the Midlands, wouldn't they get BBC North?

It was a poor first effort.

I get East Midlands too on BBC1, channel 101, but I recorded channel 858 (Virgin Media), which is Look Hull.

I've sent off a formal complaint to the BBC, but I suppose I'm just another wingeing Blade.

I watched the extremely late Sat night Football league programme and its a joke. So when I heard that they were going to do this I didn't expect much, so didn't bother anyway.

It makes me laugh. The Football league send surveys around asking if you've heard of their "enjoy the match campaign". I have and care little about it. But i think its about getting families and kids into the football league football.

Yet the way that kids will get into WANTING to go to games is by seeing their heroes on TV. But its too late for any kid to stay up for (I accept you can + plus it, but thats not the point.)

Instead, the BBC are more concerned with getting kids into Noncy dancing when they should be able to watch football.

The football league, as always are about TV money, they should give it to a channel that wants to show it.

If it's not Premier League or Newcastle the Beeb don't give a shit. They've not even got the FA Cup now, so they can focus even less on the small clubs.

It was terrible, not even because they showed so much Wednesday (it was a derby, I'll give them that) and because we were on for a few seconds, but the rest of it was bizarre! The Adam Le Fondre thing was embaressing, Alistair McGowen, a piece about colour of t-shirts. It reminded me of Soccer Night, just even worse if that's possible.
