So with Maguire leaving Leicester for big bucks who better to fill his shoes (iron boots😎) - step forward Jack O’Connell. He’s injured you know!

I doubt we would sell JOC now as we dont need the money and also we wouldnt have a replacement lined up.
 
Be a disaster to lose JOC now . Must not happen .

Although I agree... in this case I don’t understand why we have to listen to some of the ‘player suggestion’ drivel that people puke.

I know 50mill sounds cray-cray ... but I’d agree if Villa pay 25mill for a player not wanted by a prem team and (as good as he is) Webster is 20mill... you’re easy talking 40-50... unless there is a release clause.

You don't. But at least people have the option of labelling those posts as 'player suggestions'. There isn't a label for 'completely unfounded rumour I've just invented'.
 
I thought he hurt his knee when we watched him vs Betis, carried on limping then played chezzy game and went off injured.
 
Bit in the paper says they’re after Ake or Tarkowski to replace Maguire, doubt they’d go for a player unproven in the PL when they’ve just got 80mil, no matter how good he is.
 
Just seen that Bournemouth want £75m for Nathan Ake so I don't think we should sell at all unless a £60m bid comes in

Just don't get the hype about Ake, surely if you're signing defenders you sign them from teams with good defences? Burnley, Brighton, Cardiff even.

Signing Ake for a run at top 6 is like turning up for a formula one race with a BMC straight 4 in your car.

Think the fact that Brighton have signed that Brizzle player points towards them taking one of their players.

I agree we shouldn't sell now JOC is vital to the system and is a key player and there's being no suggestion of a move regardless. But there's no way JOC is worth £60! More realistically £20m but I don't for a minute think he's going anywhere. .
