Its gonna be really interesting to see how Fleck and Norwood.cope with the step up. They wont have long to adjust and whilst I think Fleck has what it takes, I'm unsure about Norwood as I dont think hes mobile enough to make a real mark on the premiership. Hes the one in midfield who I think is most vulnerable to a.new.arrival.

As someone higher up says if we still have the money to spend on Maupay I'd rather it went on a dominating midfielder....but in CW&AK we trust.

Shame. He's a good player & exactly what I think we need in the middle of the pitch. I'm pretty concerned by our options in there at the moment. Lundstram is definitely not the answer & there's a strong chance Norwood might struggle. It's a key area. Luckily Wilder seems to have acknowledged we're light in there & he seems to be in the market. Intrigued to see his next move.

Ok, I wasn't necessarily commenting on Englands quality but more the shallowness of players for that specific position/role but if you wanna take that opportunity to pin your flag as you do every-time go ahead. But more importantly Kalvin Phillips is a very good player and that's what i was highlighting.

Morrison could be good enough when he gets match fit but can he stay injury free and up for it.

If they sell him it would be confirmation they have some real financial issues behind the scenes. The squad is already looking pretty threadbare—strong first XI but not much depth. If they sell Phillips and don’t replace him I could see Bielsa considering his position.

Funny, how people see exactly what they want to see.

He doesn't give the ball away much, fans just notice when he does.

He's actually turning into a bit of a Coutts - coming short and keeping the ball moving with his short quick passing. It is however when he attempts the Hollywood style passes that Norwood is so good at that people notice the possession get turned over.

If he could get that side of his game sorted, he's a better all round player than Norwood.

Exact sort of player that would fill out our squad nicely, he'd easily be worth the 20-30m asking price for me, Phillips and RB cover.. Perfect end to the window
