After game 43, we were level with Leeds on 82 points.
The 3-0 demolition of Hull (game 44) took us on to 85 points.
Leeds gained just one further point from their last 3 matches meant we had already amassed more points than they would by the end of the season (83)
I know you could rightly argue that it's because of the pressure we put on them by keeping winning that they folded, but there's something kind of weird to kind of think the we had done enough at the final whistle having blown away a Hull City team that had been really strong at home.
I think I might just celebrate it now with a beverage or two anyway
