He couldnt really be any other way. One week to go, he has to be positive. Underneath though, there will be somethings about our play he wont be happy with. He says he was happy with the shape! Im not so sure about that.

He's as nervous as any of us are, this is a level he probably thought he'd never reach as a Manager. If Wilder ever reads this forum and if he's humble enough to take in fans comments like mine I would say stay true to your principles, the ones that got you here. If we fail, we fail but don't make changes and regret it afterwards. We have a chance to do something special here, stick to your guns Chris, it's worked a treat so far.

Well, that indicates we'll start with the tried and tested flat 3 next week.

Unfortunately, I think he was. If he is happy, he is kidding himself. My only hope is that this is one elaborate and long running pre-season bluff.

Strikes me as the kind of bloke who knew he would make it. Nothing is achieved with anything other than a positive mindset.Something many Sheffielder's seemingly lack in my experience😉. And I imagine he stays well clear of social media opinions. He has a mind of his own.

That would be burying your head in the sand,we had to bring in more quality to give us a chance just takes a bit of time ( game time ) to intergrate the extra quality.
The added nous is already showing and pre -season games are what they are pre -season.
