IF we manage to stay up then work to improve and extend the Kop should commence which will then modernise the outdated / poor facilities, increase commercial revenue (better bars, refreshments and possibly office or retail units at the rear) and provide additional seating for say another 3,000 to 4,000.
Whilst these works are in progress then a new permanent structure should be built between the Kop and the South Stand which could then provide a better Media Area as well as possibly more office or corporate facilities (again, increasing commercial revenue).
IF we then managed to achieve a sustained period in the 'upper echelons' of football then a further extension to the South Stand (including yet further corporate, bar and restaurant facilities) should be built to provide yet more seating for Home supporters - say a further 5,000 seats.
This would then allow the Club to also offer a greater number of tickets to away supporters (where nearly all would sell out an allocation of say approx. 6,000) an therefore enhance the atmosphere during match days in the process (all subject to South Yorkshire Police approval of course!).
Whilst carrying out these works, the 'Pukka Pie' corner should be redesigned and redeveloped to either provide enhanced viewing / facilities for disabled supporters, to 'merge' better with either the Kop or John Street Stands or something else because as it stands at the minute it just looks like exactly what it is (a mish-mashed 'add-on' that doesn't really look like it belongs).
With a Crystal Ball (and in an ideal world where everything turns out just fine, Sir Chris Wilder signs a Contract for Life - with no buy out clause and we're finishing top half year in year out), we then have a ground that'll accommodate 40,000+ supporters, with an even better atmosphere, with superb facilities in all areas of the ground (except for possibly in the away end) and a team that is right up there in English Football . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
If Carlsberg did ground developments . . . . . . . . . . . . .
