It's about all things Southern with an occasional sprinkling of Man Utd and Liverpool to pamper to their listeners.

You can be Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, Brighton and good things will be said about you, but if you're a Northern club other than Liverpool, Man City or Man Utd you'll get belittled and slagged off.

Why fans of any Northern club would listen to talkshite I don't know, especially when I am much more entertaining.

I used to think that to Akinbiyi, but people will ring in whatever to be on national radio - usually full of fans from the top 6 clubs and often not from wherever the club is. But in terms of his view on us, I would imagine he believes we've not done enough to bridge to gap between the PL and the Championship but we can't blow it on players like Villa can and he should understand that. If he thinks we'll go down then he wants to look at how much of a mess Newcastle are in, how Norwich have spend less than many Championship teams and how Brighton have spent little and have appointed a novice to management (in this country) in Graham Potter. Also, Palace without Zaha are not the same and he'll likely leave by the close of the window and they'll not have much time to replace him. If he stays he'll not be happy.
