Nope.

I can go two hours without a smoke, a vape, a piss, a drink, something to eat, conversation, reading material, music, most things other than air, really. It's just that it doesn't seem like a whole lot to ask to accommodate for an open area in which fans that like to smoke can. And it seems like removing that is part of the whole sanitisation of the game and its removal from the working class roots it was once proud of.

It’s just a craze, they don’t want to feel left out. They should be made to suck a big sugar dummy because that’s
what they look like. Same as women having tattoos, everyone else has one so I’ve got to have one, they belong in the circus, “come and see the tattooed lady”, and don’t get me started on that new invention, gin, fuck me! I wonder if these people have ever tried gin flavoured gin? Hogarth would be able to re name Gin Street to rhubarb and strawberry gin street.
Why we have to put up with these people billowing huge clouds of stinking boiled piss clouds in the ground is just because it’s easier to ignore them than do something about it.
 
Dont get me wrong, I'm not expecting the "all conquering" premier league to change their rules - just cant see them OR the club managing to enforce them that's all.
Pretty sure there'll be similar rules such as "Please don't stand up in seated areas" and when the stewards wonder up to the back of the Kop and shout in their loudest voices "Please sit down lads, you're not allowed to stand up and neither the Premier league or the club like it" I'm sure everyone will take such requests on board and sit down immediately. . . . . . .
 
So will they also enforce the law that forbids running your car/bus/coach engine whilst stationary.

All the away coaches now parked on Hill Street with their diesel engines belching out fumes to keep the heaters/air con working ?

Why not have designated smoking areas like pubs. The clamour to ban smoking in pubs resulted in the closure of many of them, success then.

It’s made a big difference, I don’t go home stinking of smoke and has made the pub a much healthier place to destroy my liver.

I know it's in fashion to hate smoking now, but we're talking about outdoors. If the dangers of a designated smoking area at the ground are too much for you then I don't know how you get to the Lane without a string of constant panic attacks. You don't have to smoke in it.
 
I've heard that beer farts will be banned for the 20/21 season

It carries the same association. Were it anything else so harmless as other people vaping near you this forum would be full of people talking about the snowflakes getting uppity again, but hating vaping is in fashion apparently.

Said smoking not vaping.As far as smoking goes to each their own.I have just never seen the point personally.
 
More or less smoking in public is prohibited , it's an dying art in the west...smokers could move to eastern europe and have fielddays for a year or five.

Snuff is ok - In as much as it will just give you mouth cancer. It won’t directly impact on anyone else’s health though so crack on. Smoking, however, is not ok. And vaping no one is really sure about yet so best not until we do. Cheers.
 
Surely though, it's a good thing that people are pissed off. That's the point.

That's why cigarettes have gone from £3.50 for 20 to £9 for 20 while I've been old enough to buy them.

These things are meant to discourage you because it kills you.

E-cigs were meant to wean you off them and then you'd stop that too, but then they realised they could make a fuck ton of money from it and started marketing it to children basically with flavoured juice and people that didn't smoke and now it's seen more as a hobby than a vice.

I would be surprised if vaping isn't bad for you in some way that's as yet undiscovered. Something just doesn't seem right about breathing chemically flavoured vapour into your lungs.

I think just give it all a miss and have a Polo.
 
They have cctv and stewards, use them to id transgressers and have a word in their shell like. No need for any strong arm tactics.
 



Why not just say 'Tell you what, lets have designated smoking areas down the steps at either end of the Kop so that all smokers are then well away from the remaining public and at the same time, this will hopefully increase 'traffic flow' along the back of the Kop at half time when all the smokers have relocated accordingly' . . . . . Just a suggestion (same goes for those in the south stand - just have an area away down the slope back towards the turnstiles?).
