Sounds like they are going to come down hard on the smokers (see main site for details). Going to cause no end of bother behind the kop

Shit, I was that fed up of punching kidneys, I was going to vape the fuckers.Smoke Free Premier League Sheffield United would like to kindly remind all supporters that in accordance with Premier League Ground Regulations, smoking is not permitted anywhere within Bramall Lane. This also includes the use of electronic cigarettes and vaporisers.
This not only includes the inside of the stadium, but all other areas including toilets, concourses, stairwells, bars, restaurants and other corporate lounges, as well as the media areas.
We would also like to remind supporters that there is no re-admittance to Bramall Lane, should any supporter wish to exit the stadium in order to smoke.
Anyone found in breach of this rule will be subject to the Club's disciplinary procedures, which may result in ejection from the stadium and/or possible further action by the club, including the withdrawal of any season ticket without reimbursement, the withdrawal of the right to purchase a ticket and a stadium ban.
We appreciate the cooperation of all supporters regarding this matter.

I added something to the above copy/paste from main site.
Great regulation my nose will be so happy now.

I think a good idea.Been to many a sporting event where smoking was allowed and totally took away from the experience.
Vaping is fucking stupid
Fair enough if the case at Bramall Lane just some stadiums been too here in the States that wasn't the case or maybe the other fans just didn't give a damn.Probably the latterNo one smokes in their seats. Most smokers are very considerate and have one in the open air, well away from the stands. How could that totally take away from your experience?
I am a non smoker, but can't think why an area to the rear of the kop couldn't be provided, well away from everyone else.
Personally I can’t stand smoking but to have a total ban on smoking seems unreasonable and well over the top.
Inside or in enclosed spaces then it’s makes sense to have a ban
But surely there must be a place where smokers go, away from the main areas.
Can see there being trouble because smoking is there to help relieve stress.
So at matches is the time when people need to smoke the most.
