So finally Wilder is publically getting.pissed off with Man U for f in us about. Privatwly he probably been peed of for a while but this is his first negative comment in the press.They wont be bothered though as they know if we get someone else they wont be short of suitors for Hendo
 

This deal has been agreed since May, delay after delay as painstaking talks drag on.
Looked all agreed, agent not happy, frustration all round.

Hopefully things will get resolved next week, but don't hold your breath.

No, it's because agents are cunts who have no interest in the players or the game itself. How on earth they are continuously allowed to get away with it I do not know. Fifa should just insist they get paid by the players, not by the clubs. They are a disease in the game.

Either way the club will pay, the agent will just ask for a bigger signing on fee or wage to cover his fees.

If so, contact David de Gea and tell him to stop fucking about and sign his £350,000 per week contract...

Is the agent not happy because Man U are dragging their feet on the reported request for a 200% increase in his clients weekly wage? Or is it as others have said that Man U want us to pay all the increased wages and we are reluctant to do so and the agent is a very reasonable chap who just wants his client to get some game time?
 
Interesting that Wilder said he wasn’t criticising the football people at Man U and took his time to pick his words.

Good question.

Also not having a dig: compare it to Villa. They’ve had a couple of ongoing sagas themselves (Maupay being one) but they’ve mostly been linked with a player and then signed them almost immediately it has felt like.

I wonder if we just don’t have the infrastructure on the financial side of the club to negotiate with multiple players plus agents at the same time? Or we’re now dealing with more complex contracts?
 

For me, CW is stating the obvious, that he needs to plan and needs some reassurance that things will happen or not, sooner rather than later.
We are now in the same league as Man U and expect them to respect our situation.
 
With what Wilder said, we want him back, Henderson wants to come back, and the football people at Man U want him to come back, it sounds to me like the money men at Man U want a higher proportion of Hendersons wages paying by us and we're not willing to pay that much. If he's just signed a massive contract and they want us to pay it all, it wont happen.

He was at Shrewsbury in the pub league the year before, in the championship with a promoted team last year, Henderson is clearly ambitious, Man Utd want him to develop, the only way to do that is to play every week in the premier league not have another season in the championship. He like's us, we like him, not too far from Manchester and again he will play every week - tell me a better option for all parties

Agree in the Championship he’ll be in demand
But Man Utd would prefer him to go to a PL club and not many PL clubs could gaurantee him first team football

My reading of the situation is that Manure want him to come on loan, he wants to come and we want him. CW has a said this several times. However, Manure won’t let him out on loan until he signs a new contract. He is trying to negotiate more wages than they want to pay. They know he wants to come to us on loan so they are using that as a negotiating position to try and get him to sign the new contract on their terms not his. Who will blink first? Hopefully both sides will compromise and then he’ll sign the contract and will come to us on loan. May be CW needs to tell him to sort it by Monday or whenever or we’ll look elsewhere!
 
He knows the options I'm sure. Come and play for us, and make that decision now, or with the best will in the world go and hand out training tops at Carrington for the next 5 years. Why are we waiting for crumbs to drop from their fucking table.Had enough now.

De gea needs to sign, before Henderson can sign, and that's causing the delay.
As soon as De gea is secured, Hendo can sign his, if De gea doesn't, there is the chance of a different outcome.
Or that's what I'm told by a mate that's a Manc Poo fan.
 
Wilder sort of says along the lines of we wont pay it or summat like that and he is getting impatient.

We wont pay Hendersons full wage £75k a week (Man U want us to because they deem we have the cash)

We will look elsewhere and sign Etheridge from Cardiff permanently,for what ever it cost's £6m might do it and £38k wage.

Cardiff will take Henderson on loan,and pay Man U 25% (19k) of his wages because they are Championship club with not a lot of cash (Man U happy to loan him at that rate)

Its a funny old game.
