Crikey, I bet you've seen some highs and lows over the years. How do current times compare to the best you've seen previously?

You would usually only get non-generic adverts like this if you or someone using your computer/iPad/phone has visited the Ad’s website, in this case Porktalk. If is was you sir, I sincerely hope that you wiped your feet on your way out. ;)

Great first post.
Welcome.
Wednesday casting their net as ever.

Can you remember watching Jimmy Hagan play? I can only remember him being sent off.

I clear my history after viewing Porktalk. And I always have a porn tab on hand just in case somebody catches me.

best player alan woodward, trying to think back, remember grayham shaw and jef denial ,s first matches both came of good old parsons cross, well it was in them days and when i did my national service in the royal signals, jeff denial was the cpl in charge. remember the temp stand they built on the cricket pitch early 1950s and of cauce the most famours match of all time in sheffield just say 7---3 and we all know when that was.question to anyone over 60 years young come and join us in the senior blades you will enjoy it once a month second tuesday every month not long now to the start, my grandson takes me to most matches

I’ve received a fair bit of stick on Facebook from pig fans after I told them to mind the gap amongst other stuff referring to their current situation🤣🤣🤣⚔️.
Us being in the premiership is seriously hurting them big style😂😂. After all the crap they’d given us 2 years ago about la liga and how we’d struggle🙄🤣. UTB ⚔️⚔️⚔️

I'm on porktalk.

I love winding them up in a very subtle way.

I've got loads of likes cos they're too thick to see I'm taking the piss

Please tell me this is you taking the piss

Nice to hear your grandson looks after your Blades needs, but then that's what Blades grandsons do, he's a good lad. Remember Geoff Denial, saw him play against Dooley in a reserve game, Dooley recovering from injury, swept Geoff aside with one movement of his arm, ran on to score. Believe they won 1-3 Dooley scoring two I was pissed off despite only being a kid. Graham Shaw, probably best full back from Sheffield, in my time, and there's been a couple or so from both sides. Remember the scaffolding stand over the cricket square but not the year or opposition but am relatively certain it was for a FA Cup game. Unfortunately didn't see the 7-3 but well remember my Grandads face that Saturday night, like the cat that had got the cream. I saw the 7-2 win against Leicester the following season with Jimmy Hagan scoring two.

It was a nonsense decision by the ref. Crowd were absolutely stunned, a momentous occasion, as though the world had ended. That's why it stuck in my memory.
