It will be an amazing signing if true mate. Really hopeful and I think there's too much noise coming out now for it not to be a real possibility. I just can't believe that the likes of Newcastle, Everton, Bournemouth, Villa aren't also interested. I think if he signs for us then there's every chance that other teams will think who's this guy, how good is he! Many PL fans never look below the PL to know there are some top players there.

I agree but when you look at those examples, Newcastle aren’t going to spend under Ashley, Everton will be looking a level above, Bournemouth are sorted for strikers and Villa spent £20m+ on that Brazilian.

I really, really hope we can pull this off. Would be mega.

Exactly mate. Word was that QPR were holding out for 7m for Freeman, yet we got him for under 4m, incredible piece of business.

Given our purported shoestring budget, if Brentford are holding out for 20 mil, then sadly we’ll have to pass, but if the Freeman deal is anything to go by, our brass could get the deal done for 15m, especially if Maupay is keen on us. ‘Sides he’s already used to wearing red and white stripes!
