Whenever a team loses their best player they say whatever they can to lessen the blow. It happened on here after selling Maguire, Murphy, McDonald etc in League 1. I trust that this'll be a great signing.

This. Remind me how many f(_)cks they gave when we dropped to league one and they were throwing millions around in the prem. Not our fault they got relegated with the 7th highest wage bill in the country.
