Told by someone who would know that it's pretty much nailed on but we dont know who the opponents are yet (this was yesterday).

Something about Lille are playing Galatasaray somewhere.

I'd like to know asap what's happening because if its decent oppo at Lille's ground I'm deffo going.

Bochum has a decent party street, but very industrial and now concretey. Blame the Grandads.. not far from Schalke, BVB, Fortuna, Monchen etc. No decent beer culture of its own ie no Kolsch or Alt etc. About 3-4 hours train from Brussels from memory and easy route.

Didn’t see the Sheffield ring, but then those days are long gone, as our lass keeps reminding me...

It’s concrety and industrial? Why was it twinned with Sheffield then?

Pisa is a lovely city, one of my favourites. The airport is a actually at Florence, which is easily reachable by train approx 1hr.

There is an airport right in the municipal area of Pisa. About 2 miles from the ground. Flights from most uk airports. Very tempted to make this with my eldest as it’s close to his birthday.

Didn't think Pisa was owt special, nicest bit was around the tower... Went for a walk around the ground, which is just down from the tower

I think it’s called the Garribaldi airport ? It’s the other side of the RiverArno .
Jet2.com do flights from Manchester. Flight in, food, drink, match, a few more ,Airbnb, flight home. Happy days. Sorry, it’s the Galileo airport. The grounds called th Garribaldi I think.

Ive actually got a picture of me eating pizza with the leaning tower of pisa in the background. One of the few restaurants around it where you could get that pic! Agree rest of Pisa not as nice as Florence.

To be fair, Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, so Pisa is likely to struggle by comparison. You could build a great weekend around a game in that part of the world.
