I was talking to a Huddersfield Town fan last night. He insisted the maximum number of tickets we would get for away fixtures is 3000. I always thought it was 10% of ground capacity. Or have I got that wrong??

Using that logic we'd get 7500 at Old Trafford , which we won't, so I'd go with your Huddersfield fan on this.

10% of capacity is FA Cup rules

Looked at various prem club allocations recently and all, even in huge stadiums like Spurs, OT and Wet Sham only offer 3k.

It looks like the same few supporters with large loyalty point hordes will be going to all the away games this season.

N.B. Not a loyalty point whinge just a statement of how it is.

How do Bournmouth get away with a lot less there ground only holds 12k we had 2,900 when last in premiership!

The rule is 3000 or 10%, which ever is LOWER.

Bournmouths ground holds 11,464, so that means they must give away fans a minimum of 1,146 tickets.
The PL will allow slightly less than the minimum if they have special circumstances.
United are offering 2,900 this season, that’s 100 below the minimum rule in the PL but they are hoping that the PL allow us a special concession.
When we were last in the PL we offered away fans 2,990 (the capacity of the bottom tier), that’s 10 short but the PL agreed it.

The rule is a minimum of 3,000 if your stadium capacity has a figure in excess of 30,000. Most of the top clubs choose to keep to the minimum whereas a club like Burnley provide a stand that holds 3,900. Wolves seems to have been granted dispensation even though their ground holds 31,700. Only 2,700 are allocated. There should not be any reason why 2,900 at BDTBL is not an acceptable allocation. For some reason a decision on this is dragging on.

Looking at that I’m surprised United are so high up in the capacity stakes. When you consider we all agree our stadium isn’t big enough for us it makes you realise the potential United have to be easily become a established top flight club.

I think West Ham's capacity has increased to over 60,000 this season.
