That'll be the one -my memory is not as shite as it could be - at least he played / scored!

Went to watch Rovrum v 'ull in the afternoon Hodgie netted 3 ( in my world at least ! Obviously requires verification !!!!!!!!) but Rovrum still won 5-4 (usual T & C c re accuracy apply)

I was getting better. Since July 1997 I had been taking steroids to dampen my kidney problem. Taking them can affect my immunity. I had flu on Xmas Eve and then it got worse in the next two days and I was admitted to NGH on Boxing Day. The consultants told me to stop taking the steroids and then I recovered quickly and was hoping to go to the Lane but the consultants told me I had to stay in the hospital for two more nights.

I remember him scoring a belter against Forest in the last minute, volley from near the corner of the 18 yard box (I think), Bramall Lane end, won 1-0, great scenes!!
