Decent report that is correct in most things. However

1: In the first paragraph he says we are “powerful in the air”.
I think that has been one of our big weaknesses, we have no height and not much physicality either.
The signing of Madine gave us something we didn’t have to temporarily fill that weakness.

2: It says we are efficient in forward areas because we don’t have that many shots but still score plenty of goals.
He infers that our forwards must be great finishers at putting away chances and will need to keep those standards up.

However it doesn’t explain that where as other team might have plenty of shots from difficult or half chances chances,
Our tactic is patience (sometimes guilty of overplaying) to try and create clear cut chances.

I believe the XG stats show we created more clear cut chances than any other team in the division.

The power in the air thing is true defensively, at least. The central three haven't been bullied all season and Stevens has shown he can handle the centre half position in a pinch. Coming forward we've had Madine on loan and that's it.

As for the second point, we're all about creating high quality chances. People sometimes get frustrated that we'll always play an extra pass over a shot from the edge of the area but you can't argue with results. Sharp has one of the best conversion rates in Europe but if you look at how infrequently he takes a shot then that explains it to some degree. When Sharp shoots it's usually in the six yard box or close to it.

Overall I'd just say that it's funny how the people who seem to know a bit about us are the same ones to think we have half a chance at staying up.

When I went on the PL site, the Apple App Store suggested I download the PL app.

I obliged, and when I first opened the app it asked me who my favourite PL club was, so I duly selected Sheffield United from the list of PL clubs.

Though a half decent article, it does miss two of the major reasons for the continued success of the system and why teams still had problems with us even though they knew what to expect. 1: the way the team all press in the final third when they lose the ball. There a few occasions where one player lets the rest down. That team work is pivotal. 2: Overloading the channels, requires clever movement in the box. Sharpe's movement in and around the box is second to none.

Definitely. When we played Leicester in the cup last season we struggled to live with them on set pieces with Maguire in particular absolutely dominant in the air. The signing of Egan has definitely helped but a small midfield 3, Baldock and a front 2 who aren't the biggest could see us struggle with some PL teams on set pieces
