Getting away from the cold in December to have a jolly in the sun, whilst playing 2 games at pre season friendly pace. They'd be more relaxed than us!
 
Did a good Wheelie did Jostein , but not as good as Jan Aage Fjortofts Aeroplane , now that was special .

i hope we have them at home. when other can you ever say that world champions have come to bramall lane on equal footing.
 
without wanting to be serious. i doubt we will ever get to play themagain on boxing day. as fixture computer gives the most local game thats not a derby on that day

Why is that the case? Surely its nearly impossible for that to work. I get the rationale behind it and I'm not doubting you just seems a nearly impossible task. Although if you look at our last four Boxing day games none were massively long trips

Sunderland
Wigan
Port Vale (Least said the better about that journey but again not miles away as the crow files)
 
its weird one i remember either in secrets of the fixture computer article or from sky sports news. as why certain teams almost play each other on boxing day. i remember like stoke & man utd for many seasons played deemed to have a game in December & twice on boxing day.

i think it must be policing reasons & what they deem high risk. which is why Barnsley, Chesterfield, Doncaster were ruled out. but manchester/wigan is deemed in goldlocks zone. or who knows could be football clubs they know boxing day is 1 of biggest attendances regardless of opponent. so why waste a derby game income

its further to sunderland than to liverpool according to michelin
