Here's a few that you might have forgotten...
Tony Philliskirk v Barnsley 1988 - 1-1 with a minute left,we hadn't won away that season until a clipped ball by Morris over the top found old "Phillishave" in the area,and he slammed home a last gasp winner.What was more that season,is even though we went down,the return match at the Lane was settled by yet another last minute goal by a young player making his debut as a sub after signing from Watford - Tony Agana
Deano v Port Vale 1988 - We went into the lead through Francis Joseph,then 3-1 down,before Duffield got the second a minute after Vale's 3rd went in to set up a grandstand finish,and with 5 minutes left,Deano got on the end of a short back pass by Glover to volley over Grew to make it 3-3.Seemed like there were thousands of blades there that night -and if my memory serves me right,I think it was played on a Monday night ... (just checked - was a Monday night in front of over 13000,and almost 5000 blades on the road that night....)
Tony Agana v Huddersfield (FA Cup 3rd Round) 1989 - Picked up the ball on the right hand corner of the 18yd area,swivelled and slammed it first time into the top left hand corner.Hardwick no chance.4000 blades go mental!
Deano v Bury 1989 - Mid March,on an almost open away end,where it pissed down all night,we went ahead via Toddy.They equalised with about 10 to go,before Deano's bullet header sent us wild.I was behind the net,and in the floodlights,the spray off the ball created an almost halo effect as he rose to meet it.On a night like that,you didn't give a shit if you were wet through-we were on our way to promotion!
Ian Bryson v Barnsley 1989 - Last minute,John Francis goes on a run,and got brought down by David Currie (remember him?).Bryson kept his cool in front of another massive Blades away following,to bring home 3 points,sending Baker the wrong way from the spot.Another last gasp winner against the dingles (our 2nd in 3 seasons at Oakwell -how they must have loathed us

)
