Why can't we have the full bramall lane end and give away side Pukka pies corner?

The other Prem clubs don't like us much as it is. Don't give them another reason.

How many does the Pukka corner hold? I assume we have to get close to the 3 grand. As for other clubs not liking us, they can all go fuck themselves as I remember none of them showing their approval of us last time we were in the Prem. What next letting them have the points so they love us? As soon as we don't roll over they complain about us being disrespectful.

It is just a pity we cannot give away teams next season, the same allocation and seats that we gave Chesterfield,in the final game of the 16/17 season

Have to start at pitch level anyway don't they?

BLLT does, PPC doesn't.

Dunno if there is a decent reason against it?

Aside from it not holding 3,000 (the minimum permitted away allocation in the premier league, or 10% of overall capacity). The entrance and exits are on the John Street Stand - the FAMILY stand. This would mean that we would lose the end gangway of the John Street Stand also. I know for a fact that I wouldn't want to take my kids onto John Street after the West Ham game if they were also exiting there.

Not sure if you’re being serious. There’s 2 big reasons why it’s impossible for your suggestion to happen.

1: The Pukka Pie Corner has only 900 seats, whereas PL rules state every club must allocate away fans a minimum 3000 seats or 10% of the stadium capacity (which ever is lower).

2: Serious safety concerns. The entrance to those seats is via the John Street Fsmily stand, also the fans using that stand have full access to the Fsmily stand concourse, bars and toilets. There’s no way they’d allow away fans to mingle with home fans in the Fsmily stand.

In addition to it barely even holding 1,000 you also have to access it via the family stand

That seems like a pretty good reason to me. Although, if the club had any ambishun they'd make the Pukka Pie Corner a 3 tier stand, a bit like a wedding cake, and entrance to it would be via a flyover from B&Q car park and exit via a big slide that ends up in Pond Street.

We could give away pukka pies. That would guarantee a full Bramall Lane.

The interesting side note being that the Pukka Pies corner really is awful isn't it? Might as well knock it down and start again.

Sat in there for a few years and it’s actually a decent view and atmosphere cause it’s next to the kop

Think it looks nice aswell

But whoever designed it needs sacking as there’s a good 200 seats where you can’t see half the pitch

Something that nobody seems to have thought of is disabled access. We have to provide seats for disabled away fans and their personal assistants if required. Currently these seats are located on Bramall Lane Lower Stand in the corner. Relocating appropriate seating in other parts of the ground would prove difficult.

Looks decent from outside, inside it's just bizarre, when there's so few seats, make it so you can actually see the pitch, the brick wall on the John Street side, why? Just build it so the seats start from there and go forward, this picture which someone on here took from the Kop just makes it clear that whoever designed this was a cretin of the highest order.

There's the gap between it and the Kop, which I don't get? Maybe it's for access to some part of the Kop that needs to be checked, like the pillar, don't know but it's ugly, and if it isn't for inspection reasons, it should have butt right up against the Kop so that there'd be more useful seats.

It's just a reyt state.

Yep it certainly is, the one part of the ground that there always seems to be an empty row of seats or 3 even for the ‘sell outs’.

Is it because we want the away fans to come back??

Had a year in there , remember watching the Forest play-off match from there so happy memories.
I'm pretty sure they only charged kop prices for that season (even though you could easily access John Street stand).
After that they put the price up, so I swiftly moved to the Kop.
