In all the rumours about “new players”, “United interested in”, “this club, that club and United chasing so and so”, “United considering £x million offer for so and so”, etc. etc.
Do we actually have any money to spend? If so, much is available to CW ?
Is he even in a position to get whoever is allowed to do these things to make concrete offers, negotiate salaries, terms, etc?
Or is this all pissing in the wind until our irresponsible and inept owners resolve their stupid little dispute.
By which time could it be a little too late?
An appalling and unnecessary situation to be in and an utter shame and embarrassment after all the work, especially, over the last season.

I'm utterly shamed embarrassed on your behalf

There you go - sorted - end of thread

Give me strength........

McCabe and Wilder have already said that the budget for next season is confirmed, and that's regardless of the ongoing dispute.

This was discussed a few times in interviews after promotion was confirmed. There was a lot of drink going around though, so I understand why you may have missed it.

"I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl. We ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over and over and over?"

Was she a virgin? or is it all a big lie?

Well that's a relief then.
Thank you all for being so incredibly helpful.
I that case I will stop taking the morphine.
I can rest easy that the money side is all agreed and sorted out.
Might as well sit back and look forward to us being in Europe.
What a sunny outlook.

Watch that first step. It's a doozie!
