I know about half a dozen people have highlighted this player for various reasons already but it hasn't been given it's own thread yet.
Rodley JonnyRed(WCFC) Barney blade too long grafikhaus Deadbat Beans apolgies if I've missed anybody. Since a lot of people will be able to get a first hand look at the lad this afternoon, maybe we can see if this would work, I'm thinking more of the no.10 role rather than as an out an out attacker.

Ive always kept an eye on the lad because his dad is a Worcester City legend..scored 80 odd goals in around 100 games for us in the late 90s early 2000s. Jarrod certainly has his finishing prowess.

No chance of signing him. Spurs & Burnley have had scouts watching him recently - Hull reputed to be asking £20m.

Hull have money issues it seems according to Twitter. Seen rumours Villa are in for him but I see them signing bigger names.

Supposedly there recruitment hinges on selling Bowen.

This is a signing I’d break the bank for. Huge future and resale value and a natural replacement (and upgrade) on Duffy.

Where would he fit in Utd's team? He's always started wide whenever I've seen him play

I read somewhere that you could get a greatly reduced fee if it’s structured with more upfront. The owner wants out and receiving the money over years wouldn’t suit.

According to Richard Cadette on Movement thread this morning transfer activity is “pretty slow”. Our options in the market are vastly reduced with Villas promotion. They will hoover up prospects that we would see as prime targets.

Aston Villa will begin their preparations for the Premier League by bidding £10m for Nottingham Forest's 26-year-old English forward Joe Lolley.

He didn't say vastly reduced. Just mentioned Maupay.

Personally I don't give a shit about Lolley and Maupay, at the respective asking prices. It's a combined £30m.

If they go for McBurnie and Robinson (Villa fan) though I will lose my shit...

The “vastly reduced” was my humble assessment, I wasn’t putting words in his mouth, I put his comment “pretty slow” in inverted comas.

Villa are owned by billionaires. There going to be shopping in different markets to us.

Hull are in a right mess, might be worth chancing an early bid before the others start panic buying. He would be perfect for a Chris Wilder team.

Oh dear oh dear. Why on earth did we ever try and get promoted eh? What a waste of time. I think we should just ask the FA if we can stay in the Championship instead. Villa will nick all our best prospects, just like big boys kicking sand in the face and stealing girls from those who don't own a "Bullworker".

Good idea, shall I phone them or do you wanna do it ;)

Still not come to terms and sh!ttin mesen we do a BladeyMcBladefaceMccacbebogroll feck up. Anything better stops my expectations getting hurt.

Had a quick look through threads on here, and can't find him mentioned anywhere. I think he's a great little player, and the type that would fit in with CW's requirements; hard-working, hungry, out to prove himself.
He's contracted for 1 more year at Hull, and valued at around 7million. I don't see us matching that valuation, but would be good if we showed interest with a 4-5 million pound bid. Maybe follow it up in January when he's nearing the end of his contract.

I agree with Adam. Rightly or wrongly I think you'd need £15-20m, maybe more.

There owners a bit of a leech . I was reading if we offered more upfront (before he sells) we might get him cheaper.
I think he would be the best Duffy replacement but I can’t see it given our other targets.

"...The Gunners are preparing a £12m move for Hull City's 22-year-old English striker Jarrod Bowen ..."

If you can secure his transfer for £4-5m, then you're in the wrong game. Not only should you be CEO at a Prem Club, you should also be put in charge of peace negotiations in the Middle East :-)
