Fixtures Out !

At 0900 on Thursday 13 June.
This will be one of the most eagerly awaited fixture lists in the last couple of decades.
But where are all us retired folk meeting-up to discuss our 19/20 campaign strategy over lunch & a pint ?
Despite living in Manchester , I feel a strong pull to join other mates from afar , in Sheffield , somewhere near the Lane.
Will any of the bars at the ground be open ?
What about Annie's Bar (is it still called that ?) or elsewhere in the Copthorne ?
Will the Supporters Club or SUISA have anything going on in the Sportsman or similar ?
Any info would be appreciated.

Y'know what this site really needs? A voting system that shows your displeasure, not since 'Brown Signs' have any of these comedy postings even raised the slightest reaction and given Michael Brown is now 117 years old it tells you how long I have had to suffer unfunny witticisms.

Can we have Watford or Palace away first please. I know we've requested an away fixture first ,I will be gutted if its West Ham Tottenham or Brighton ,my only 3 new grounds available. A postponement would be best as Im away until the 14th.

Yep can't wait to see which set of vastly overpaid diving foreigners will be first up at the Lane next season ... everything that is wrong with top tier football we will now get to see close up at S2 , fan-****ing-tastic.

I assume you're suggesting / indicating that no actual request has been made (yet ?)

Sounds like a sensible request from the club, and it would be quite logical even if they think they would be ready in time.

It also suits me as I'm likely to be away for the first Saturday.

It wasn’t on Sky and I remember being shocked at how physically strong and solid Burnley were.

They were the better team but Billy Sharp scored a goal just before half time.
Then immediately afterwards Burnley scored an open goal putting us 2-0 up.
Remember thinking how high the standard was compared to the Championship and how we were so lucky to be leading 2-0.
The dream ended, so don’t know how the match finished.

The first Saturday of the new Premier league season sees the Blades paired at home to an established top flight club - Southampton.

The rain is relentless in the 24 hours leading up to the game leading to the bridge near the Bridge Inn (RIP) to flood.

But nothing us going to rain on the Blades parade as they come out 3-1 victors.

The next two games are away at Arsenal and Everton, the two longest serving top flight clubs.

The Blades triumph, playing a swashbuckling style of football. Both games end 1-0.

During September there are home games against two Europen finalists, Tottenham and Chelsea. The former scramble a 2-2 draw as Pochetinno has to resort to a long throw tactic to break the Blades defence. The Chelsea game sees a 1-0 victory to the Blades.

A visit to Leicester sees Harry Maguire needlessly giving away a corner from which John Fleck scores directly from.

October arrives. Brexit deal looks as though it's resolved and not since 1975 the UK look to be free from Europe. Meanwhile the Blades seem to have Europe in their sights are turning the clock back to the 1970's. On Saturday October 5th 2019 the Blades travel across the Penines to take on their United counterparts in Manchester.

Thousands of Blades without tickets make the journey. Those fortunate to be inside Old Trafford witness the Blades win 2-0. A run from the halfway line from Mark Duffy sees him driven wide but he manages to score, an in off-the-post. Billy Sharp makes it two following a cross from Jack O'Connell.

The Blades sit top of the Premier league.
