It doesn’t, we’ve won FA Cups and the League Championship.. We spent an unbroken spell of 34? years in the top flight.

Chris Wilder has a long way to go before he can be called our greatest ever and be deserving of a statue.

Completely get what you're saying, but winning trophies (at least in my mind) isn't the measure of a good manager.

I'm not up on the history enough to say whether or not Wilder is a better manager than previous ones but he potentially could be, without winning any trophies.

Partly because I think where the club were when he took over is a massive factor.
Also because all our major honours were won in a time where the difference between clubs at the bottom and top were far smaller, there was less competition and the gap between finances between big clubs and smaller clubs is far, far greater today.
