We might, but I'd be stunned if any one of those players went for less than £15-18m. I'd be equally stunned if we spend that on a single player to be honest.

(as it happens the only player on that list that I'd want us to sign in a dream world would be Abraham - not convinced the rest are good enough for the Prem)

Something on the Blades podcast got me thinking. We'll have a bigger transfer budget than we've ever had, but we're starting with a more valuable squad than we've ever had and that O'Connell, Egan and Norwood are worth multiples of what we paid for them, with Fleck, Baldock and Stevens worth plenty and even McGoldrick a very saleable asset.

We might not need to spend as much as we imagine......

When we go along to a Championship club with our cheque for £7/8m it'll be very hard for them to 'stand in the way' of their player when he has the chance to play in the Prem.

Also, such as Harry Wilson, Mount, Abraham, Dowell will be desperate to play in the Prem next season. Hope the Baggies win the play-offs!! Or do we fancy Gayle instead?

Any more affluent club fancying O'Connell or Fleck will know they would have to pay full value too. We are not the paupers any more.

We will not lose our empathy for other clubs' supporters but the tide has changed.

The image of our manager and the style of play will hold plenty of attraction to any player lucky enough to get the opportunity.

How many clubs does McC own?

Does this mean - FINALLY - we'll be signing Sam Morsy.

' When we inevitably get relegated ' there speaks a true Blade.

Yes, when it happens opposition fans will sing ' You're not Famous Anymore ' at us like some set did a few seasons back in the First Division. They thought it would wound us, but I think most of us were gobsmacked thinking to ourselves ' we used to be famous? When did that happen? '
ha ha ha
pinchy in 3..2..1 :D

Hey. When did you get back?

Tbh I think the player that will get the most attention is Stevens

Finally fulfilling the huge potential that persuaded Villa to sign him. He’s done it via a roundabout route, but probably our most consistently good player this season in a tough position, harder than RWB in my opinion. He’s class.

We all know what our style of play is and how it would attract good players but the thing is those in the Premier league will still think of us as a hoofball outfit much like a lot of the fans used to watching just Premier league games.

I mean in theory it’s been 3 years since O’Connell played as an orthodox Centre back and with us being the only team to play the way we do,meaning no team can honestly identify JOC as the exact player they need.

Having said that I’m sure there would be a long list of suitors who have never really paid attention to him just seen him have a decent game on sky.

Not quite, there's only one Messiah and he's right in the middle of the resurrection of our football club. A miracle of biblical proportions!

John Ch11. v25-27
25 - Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life." The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
26 - and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
27 - “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

Got to be the first to give that a like...

Chris Wilder will not go for big time Charlies, or players that just want the pay cheque. Or players whose attitude is not right. He will go for players that want to play for this historic wonderful club, he will go for players that will fit into the way we play. You know what

No wonder we all love Chris Wilder, in Wilder we trust
