I recommend the Undr the Cosh podcast to anyone who hasn't heard it. The best ones IMHO:

- Mark Crossley on life playing for Brian Clough
- Nicky Weaver, who despite his Wednesday roots is funny on life at Charlton and on Gary Megson
- The double act between Morgan and Hoyland at Bramall Lane
- Bruce Grobbelaar, who irrespective of what you may think of him has had a fascinating life.
- Michael Brown, who talks a lot about his time at the Lane.

Part of their schtick is that they sample the atmosphere of away ends all over UK and Europe...the fact they end up jumping around topless with our lot and are buzzing off it should be viewed as a compliment...they’re usually reviewing pies at freezing, boring nil-nils.
Looked like Browny was an honorary Blade by halftime just off the strength of the Egan chant

Interesting that my 40k+ points couldn’t secure a ticket but these lads got one :eek:

Having seen a few of these videos from other grounds, I think they get tickets from fans willing to sell their tickets on... Obviously at a premium

They genuinely enjoyed it in comparison to other away days. Had big parkin been there he would have loved it too

To be fair, they’ve been at some stinkers but they always seem more interested in the atmosphere than what’s going off on the pitch. I imagine that yesterday’s ‘jovial’ atmosphere will have been infectious to even the most ardent neutral. As ex pros, they must be extremely envious of what our players are currently enjoying - not every player will get to experience something like this in their careers

I think they captured the atmosphere perfectly! I’m still feeling the affects today...

I was down near them at half time mental, I had to come up for a rest

Apologies everyone for reposting but i did do a search for the youtube link on here and it didn't come up. :(

Ha! These blokes are great. Anyone know who they actually support?

They have HMS Shipperley on their podcast tomorrow.

As Ships was big and heavy boned, also having played at long ball sides Palace and Wimbledon, assumed he’d just be a big battering ram type of striker
But surprisingly he played more like a McGoldrick type showing touches of class, intelligence and awareness.
He was far far better then i expected and made a major contribution to our promotion campaign.
Will be interesting what he has to say about Warnock and our 2006 promotion campaign.

He is very much a striker that the phrase "He has a great touch for a big lad" was created for. :)
