These current players and the manager have helped us truly become United. I don't think I've ever seen a bond between players and the manager, the manager and the fans and the players and the fans in any football team, and it is truly special to see.

Over the last three seasons we've seen some players grow to become heroes and future legends, even some who took fans by total surprise such as Crainie and Stearman.

But I'd like to acknowledge some other players who have already gone, or who have not played for us much this season, who each in my opinion played a significant part in the change of our fortunes since Wilder took over three seasons ago. I'm sure others on here may disagree or think others deserve a mention, but hats off and thanks to

Simon Moore
Ethan Ebanks-Landell
Jake Wright
Daniel Lafferty
Leon Clarke
Jamal Blackman

The other heroes.

I was going to post a similar thread about the squad players from this season. If you’re going back to League One then you have to mention Done, Scougall and Lavery for their contributions while Clarke was struggling for fitness.

In particular the video of TC handing out the medals got me thinking how much Simon Moore has contributed to this season. He’ll have been there on the training pitch and on match day helping Hendo learn, train hard and develop into the player he is now.

So many that deserve credit:

Clarke
Brooks
EEL
Lafferty
Lavery
Blackman
Wright
Moore

Also Coutts as he has not featured as much since Norwood came in and it looks like he is on his way this summer.

Notable mention to Lundstrum who will be remembered for nailing Greasy Jack. I assume he will be off in this summer as well.

A mention to Lee Evans for that stunning goal against Boro that Michael Brown would be proud of.

Coutts!!! I knew there was someone else that I was meant to add.

Cheers for reminding me.

Donaldson was well worth what we paid.
James Wilson for the few games he played in lg1.
Even Marvin Johnson has done enough for the squad (if not on the pitch) to deserve his medal.

Nope, he is the only man in the squad that I think has done more harm than good for us. Sad to say considering we have got promoted.

Forgot about Donaldson. His goals got us a result at Villa last season that I never thought we would get.

I applaud Moore, Coutts and Jake. They have been,IMO, immense this season and whilst I want Couttsy and Moore to stay, I think Jake deserves the chance to play football if that’s what he wants.

You recon? I honestly don’t think he will. Ready made replacement for Norwood. Plus he’ll have a full pre season behind him

Did he play at MK Dons away second to last game in League One season??
