Do we know if the team coach will be coming back to Bramall Lane afterwards or not? Rooks

I have heard suggestions that sometimes the players park up at Shirecliffe and the coach goes back there.

I would hate to be waiting at the wrong venue.

If there are plenty of flash motors in the car park then I reckon they’ll be coming back to the Lane. Plus Basham’s no-nonsense Mark 2 Cortina.

They may not fancy being clumsily caressed any more this week , by our over exuberant fans and return via a nice cozy Staffordshire pub , till most have gone home .

There will be plenty of disappointed people if not I'd guess as every other person I've spoken to is planning on going down.

I'm driving tmrw with the intention of coming back for that and a few beers in the Railway.

If its deffo not happening it would be worth publicising so people know imho.

Just been in for an absolutely glorious pint of Stones's. Fuck me it went down swiftly.

Heads up. The owner is a pigfan, don't you know?

I know mate but if he keeps a good pint who really gives a fuck? :)

He’s still a Piggy bastard though. :D

There's about eight, black or dark coloured sports 4x4s in the car park.

Madine's Lambo has gone.

He always has kept a good pint. Every time I've gone in there, it's been possibly the best beer I've drunk in a while.

Look.

If I could teach those shitty pubs down south how to make, keep and pour ale like this, my life would be complete.

Looks lovely, is that a cask pint? Sadly not brewed in Sheffield anymore and American owned.

I have to agree with you Pompey I have had to switch to lager since coming back south of the Trent. Thin watery rubbish like ale squash. That pictured pint does look like a good un.

Cask Stones was discontinued in 2011. The keg stuff is, by comparison to the original, crap. When they brewed the proper stuff in Sheffield it was a great pint, but there are many better beers brewed round here nowadays. Keg Stones is brewed in Tadcaster nowadays, if memory serves me correctly.

It's still 100% better than the shit served elsewhere. And, it has to be drawn properly. My dad taught me all about this when he worked at the New Inn on Hemsworth Road.

It always annoys me when bar staff can’t do the simple, basic task of pulling a pint properly. I used to be in the pub trade and it was the first thing we taught new staff, yet some places can’t even teach their staff the basics.
If you want a decent pint, try the Beer Engine or the Cremorne. They both have a good range of proper cask conditioned beers. The Neepsend Blonde in the Beer Engine will be getting a hammering on Sunday after the match.

There is another party tomorrow night for players and coaching staff at the Lane so every chance they will return straight to the ground from Stoke.

Any idea what time roughly the bus gets back to bramall lane?

5-6pm sounds about right? Can't imagine the team wanting to stay in Stoke too long after the game and there will be no teamtalks of any sort.

At Leeds they were off about 30-40 minutes after the final whistle. I know that because I was following the team coach back down the M1!

I'd imagine they'll set off back tomorrow shortly after they've left the pitch.
