McCabe wants to sell Blades

See above post.

I’ve seen it. It’s drivel.

To whom did Brian Robson sell the club?

Who is the ‘Fake Sheikh’? If he’s got 50% of my club, as a supporter and shareholder, I want to know about it.

The data says they are of similar wealth, but you don't seem to be grasping how limited that data is. You are deriving conclusions from one article by the Yorkshire Post and a Wiki page.

Though it's fine to do that, it's also fine for others not to, and instead have their own guess based on the businesses they have been involved with. As I said, the truth is that nobody really has a clue.
But you said you knew better, based on some business knowledge you had, which (how dare I suggest it) wasn’t based on you making ignorant assumptions.
Are you going to share or do we just come to our own logical conclusion based on the evidence to hand? Ie you decided he was rich because he was born in Saudi, and they’re all billionaires.

Thank you, I try my best

I didn't say 'sell', I said 'pimp'.

You're a clever fella. I reckon you could work this out if you tried really hard.

No I'm not. I'm deriving that from the most obvious available information to all. You tell me what guess you are basing your conclusion on Barney as per the underlined statement.

If there is a buyer lined up, I’m not holding my breathe on them being particularly wealthy (well in football terms anyway).

Anyone with a decent amount of cash would just sort the court case in a matter of days by paying off McCabe and the Prince so they can get on with running the club.

Oh ok.

I’m not a lawyer but I can’t have an opinion?

Even though it’s an informed opinion based on my own experience in starting up, buying and selling international businesses?

Fair enough!

I’ll keep quiet then!

Your opinion, quoted verbatim - When he sold half the club to the Prince. for a £1, the Prince seemed to assume that this gave him rights over the related properties, it doesn’t.

So they’ve fell out over that bit.

So tell me from your "vast experience in starting up, buying and selling international businesses" - what has informed you in your informed opinion that When he sold half the club to the Prince. for a £1, the Prince seemed to assume that this gave him rights over the related properties, it doesn’t. Where in the pleadings in the business Court is there anything akin to a pleading from the Prince along the lines of "Bugger me I though that quid meant I got the hotel, ground and training ground!

?????????

See Aldridge is at it again. Shagged all the Nolan Sisters in one night. Yeah, no. What? Wasn't me.

What is your obsession with all Saudi's being billionaires? If anybody is making that ignorant assumption it's you. As I have continually stated and you have continually ignored, the guess is based on the businesses they have been involved with (Google is your friend for that info). Unlike you I've been honest in stating I have no clue in actuality, while you pretend to know everything about the finances of these blokes on the basis of a Wiki page here and there despite probably never having met them both.

Does a candy floss cart in Benidorm really fall into that category? :D

From your Google knowledge then, what businesses has the Prince been "involved with"? What, from the knowledge derived from that source as to his involvement with businesses leads you to the conclusion that "the prince is richer based on both of their business involvements"?

I'm done. Sorry lads. Just decided to be on one tonight. See you tomorrow in a better mood with a final attendance competition .:p

Snowy my mate, it's self-explanatory if you read it. As Yellarbellyblade rightly states, there's no real point to carrying on this discussion. If you want to carry it on then go for it lad but I'll get back to celebrating promotion to the PL.

And another duck, but I’ll leave you alone now.
We can all see exactly what you did, and why you thought what you did but it’s rather stupid. Making stuff up to unsettle your own fans is also pretty fucking low but I guess if it looks like a twat, sounds like a twat and acts like a twat......

Couple of observations;

McCabe has wanted to sell for years....what's changed.....the value of the club, overnight!

Maybe the promotion to the EPL automatically changes something with regards to the deal between McCabe and HRH?

Was McCabe looking confident of winning the court case....or resigned to losing it?

Is the deal that could be lined up be so good that McCabe and HRH will both bow out or is McCabe referring to HRH as the "foreign owners".

Personally I don't want HRH anywhere near my club....

I’m no lawyer, but I can explain it to you.

When he sold half the club to the Prince. for a £1, the Prince seemed to assume that this gave him rights over the related properties, it doesn’t.

So they’ve fell out over that bit.

I’ve said now for the past 2 years plus, that the solution is for both parties to settle and sell to a third party.

Let’s see what happens.

That's completely wide of the mark.

If you're going to "explain" something to someone, you need a better understanding yourself.

Who is the ‘Fake Sheikh’? If he’s got 50% of my club, as a supporter and shareholder, I want to know about it.

Are you playing dumb or do you not remember Channel 4's "How to buy a football club" documentary?

Through our many years in division one I'd have been glad to see the back of McCabe as despite being a successful businessman he didn't seem to know how to pick a manager or have the real resource to take us further. Whatever we think of his co owner he obviously made a difference as we wouldn't have signed Egan and Norwood without him, despite getting the Brooks money. As they've fallen out something must change but I'd take McCabe over him all day long.

Now we are in the premiership I'd actually be happy to see McCabe stay as the premier league itself will provide the finance we need and I know he loves our club and would be a good custodian of it.

I actually dont want us to go out and sign £40m players I want Wilder to add sensibly to the squad with perhaps 4 or 5 top championship and experienced premiership players. There will be the money to do that so for me any foreign owner in it for either a quick thrill or the kudos can do one.

Going to be an interesting couple of months but I think it's the end of an era with the likely outcome the club going to neither of the 2 current owners but a new one we will know next to nothing about. However whilstever Wilder is around we will have that local connection and my hope is that one day he moves up into a director of football role before eventually filling a Derek Dooley type.role in the future keeping a local eye on our very special club.

One tactic here.

Hold onto your stock. Bide your time. One day it will come good. Sell high. Get out while you can and the opportunity is there. If he had faith in Wilder and the chaps, he wouldn't be bailing.

If he thinks he's keeping this away from Wilder and the playing staff and is expecting us to swallow that, he's fucking deluded. Once the players' rightfully deserved hangovers have cleared (and it'll take some clearing by the look of it) then one hopes we aren't faced with the horror of all their efforts being in vain as the club is sold to some set of cunts who don't make it Premier League resilient. Big Blade or not, McCabe won't give much of a fuck, because his fan club will simply turn on his detractors and say, 'well, we had it good under him', failing to remember, our success is in spite of him, not because of him.

If he's as bad as you make out, why doesn't he just stay put and suck all the PL money out of the club a la Oyston, while he has the best chance he'll ever have?
Why bale out now, for presumably not much more than the cost of the real estate in the disputed deal with HRH?

Because maybe it's a pretty decent time to bale the fuck out before us needy cunts start asking questions come August why we haven't spent cash to make the squad viable in the PL? I don't yet buy any of his schizz about Wilder having the resources to make that happen. He's left that to chance and the spirit and abilities and the stars lining up rather than us going 'wow' with a cracking signing holding up a red and white shirt for the camera. Never forget, we have done all of this on one of the meagrest budgets in the Championship, despite seemingly coining it in on transfers and sell ons. McCabe doesn't want to spend, and he will HAVE to spend to stay in the PL, as history attests, when Hulse got crocked and our goals dried up.
