Which players will be getting offers for?

JOC ?
Norwood ?
Stevens ?
Fleck ?

Wilder ?

Hopefull none but I think it's possible that some may leave :(

Can’t see anyone leaving. Why would clubs bother when you can see how they cope with Premier League football and pick them up next year when they’re cheaper?

Promotion was confirmed 24 hours ago. Try and enjoy it a little longer.

Anyone we sell would need to be replaced. Now we are in the Prem theres a tariff for British players even higher than before. Selling defeats the object and wont make us any money.

If they want to leave? Who knows. But they look pretty together group

hmmm ok thanks for that

More a realist, maybe I'm pre-over reacting

I kinda understand, but although we're far from immune to above average offers, with Wilder at the helm he's strengthened his position no end because of the promotion. No one will move unless he sanctions it, period. What I expect to see is a strengthening of the squad, so the equivalent of what we've seen since CW was appointed, unexpected signings that play a significant role for us.........should be fun and inspiring mate UTMB!

Agree 100% but can't help feeling it won't be as easy as that. That's what decades of being a Blade does to you. I'm also thinking that if ANY of our first 11 is 'upgraded' and they play second fiddle then would they want to sit on the sidelines?

Anyway, here's to another (relatively) successful campaign

UTMB

Considering how elated and excited these players will be now, I would be surprised if many wanted to leave. The caveat being that someone might chuck 50k+ a week at someone [JOC for example] but I also have no idea how the players' current wages are going to increase now. Substantially I would have thought, so that might be enough to entice any doubters to stay and carry on with the ride.

At to that our new found windfall and I doubt we would need to sell anyone at this stage.

I can't see anyone the club don't want to lose forcing a move over the summer. The players will receive an uplift of their salaries and I'm sure a few will negotiate even better terms. The only players I could imagine big bids coming in for would be Egan and O'Connell but I would have thought potential suitors would want to see how they fare in the Prem first considering how much it would take for Utd to accept and offer (£15m+??)

It will be interesting to see what CW does with the loans. I would imagine he'll try to extend Henderson (or preferably sign him if Man Utd ask for a sensible amount, especially considering Utd can have a max of 2 Prem loans) but really not sure about Madine or Hogan.

I would imagine Johnson will go back to M'boro and and Dowell to Everton with the following leaving - Stearman (once he sobers up), Coutts, Lundstram, Washington, Freeman, Lafferty and possibly Moore.

Other possible departures would be Cranie, Bryan and as long shot - Duffy.

Can't see any of our main players leaving.

We have no reason to sell any players other than move on squad players not deemed to fit in our plans.

There is no ''brooks balance the books sale" required.

Agree with all that except CW has also mentioned Duffy playing in the Prem with us. He’s staying and I’m chuffed he is !

Well I was worried that if we didn't go up most of our best players would go for Premier League football but now we are there, can you see any of them going? I don't think so

I am sure all our players will get a pay rise. I don't think any of the A team would want to leave. They clearly love the club, will be playing in the PL, will be well paid and can see that with CW as Manager the sky is the limit. We are under not financial pressure to sell anyone. As others have pointed out the problem with selling key players is getting replacements in so I am sure we won't want to do that.

I can however seeing us selling some of the fringe players (if we have replacements ready). I can see players like Stearman, Lunny, Crainie, Moore, Bryan and (sadly) Coutts being sold/not offered contracts and certainly Washington and Johnson. Personally would not buy either Hogan or Madine. I don't think either have done enough to justify playing in the PL and I am sure we can find better.

Lundstram is the standout candidate along with Stearman and Cranie and Washington not that there is anything wrong with them its that we will need better for Prem football, doubt any of the loan outfield players will be signed.
Johnson is he still Boro's player,if not he will be off.
