Just before half time Cardiff pull a goal back when a shot by Steve Derrett is deflected by Trevor Hockey's back.

one of my very earliest memories, on John St Terrace aged 6, saw very little of action on pitch as so small but clearly remember the noise and excitement, brilliant

I am told there is film of that game taken from the back of BLUT. Been trying for 3 years to get a copy without success. Club cannot show it for copyright reasons although they did get permission to use it at the 125 year celebrations.

That was the Watford match. I saw it at the 1971 promotion reunion in 2011. Would love to see it again. I believe HTV do have footage of the Cardiff match that was shown on HTV news in the next day (not sure if Calendar/ Look North did too)
