What a huge day of results today is, I'm absolutely buzzing. Really, I am.

But can we please, please keep our powder dry and take it one game at a time? There's still two huge games to go yet and the potential for more twists and turns. I'm seeing talk of how much to bid for Henderson, which strikers we should go for etc, who may be available.

I'm over the fucking moon tonight, but next weekend is a huge set of fixtures yet again and Ipswich aren't just going to roll over. Let's enjoy it tonight, Blades. What an Easter weekend! But that's all it's been. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, that would be a very Leeds-y, dickish thing to do.

Enjoy the beers tonight, one game at a time, UTB!

I think a little overexuberance is permitted tonight. 4 days ago, we were 3 behind leeds, facing 2 tough games, while they were playing Wigan and a Brentford side with nowt to play for. After 4 incredible results, we're 3 points clear, with +11 goal difference over them, and knowing that barring a massively unrealistic GD swing, a win at a hopefully packed Lane against Ipswich will send us back to the Premier League.

Ipswich won't roll over, but neither did Forest or Hull, we were just too good, and we should be again on Saturday. Bring it on!

I’m still nervous only we could lose to a relegated side, but come on, play like we usually do and we should be fine.

If Carlsberg did scary Alton Towers rides wi' aif er 't' bolts missin'. t'other aif loose and rest in 't stores, it would be named after our special club.

No Barnstonewoth this time. Thanks.

I was delighted until about 10 minutes ago then I remembered we have to beat a side at home who have only won 4 all season to clinch it and now I am shitting myself.
Royston, you are the cherished heartbeat of this community - ffs man sort yourself out:rolleyes: the stars are aligned, Chrissi is in charge and this team are different, totally different from the bottlers we have had to endure in the past. I’m pissed and a tad emotional after today but we’re on our way, we’ll take care of Ipswich. I’ve loved this club since the 60’s and honestly doubted that, in the shite days of L1, that we’d ever be back where the top team in this city belongs but we’re on the threshold. Thanks so much for all you do, start picking the choons for satdi ;)

I think enjoy the next few days, then back to worrying about what can go wrong on Friday.
This week has been our week, next week could be different.

I don't even want to imagine having to win at Stoke because we've lost against Ipswich

I'm hoping to not have the view from up until at least Monday because I will be constantly celebrating from 7pm till 7pm Monday

Only 1 huge game Saturday. Should hopefully be done and dusted by then

I'm not saying exuberance isn't allowed, I'm saying let's be humble and grounded about it - there's a difference.

Top, top day. UTB.

Good point well made KimD. We have to stay grounded, we were way ahead on penalties and lost at Wembley, we've made x3 play-off finals and never won, we've got ownership problems.......

By the way, who do you want to join us via the play-off's?

Can't help but think about how poor we were away at Ipswich.... Surely we will turn up this week? Just one, just one more win.... PLEASE!

Exactly, all the more reason to remain grounded.

:p

The game Ipswich will want to win is their last home game in the Championship in front of their fans. They will be up against a leeds club that have looked awful in their last two games.

It’s no coincidence that we’ve gone a bit more attacking again in the last couple of games and looked a lot better for it, playing our free flowing football, do this against Ipswich and we’ll be fine.

I am in Spain. Not only have I shared a plane with loads of mardy Leeds fans. When I arrived at my hotel it's got two huge blades on the side of it. It's an omen deffo going up. Would post a pic but it's dark and I'm pissed it

At Leeds station on way back from Hull, saw more than a handful of blokes in Leeds shirts who had clearly stormed out of pubs at 2-0. I had to suppress my smugness for fear of upsetting the football gods
