We wanted more goals from midfield and he’s the only one who’s stepped up to the mark really. Fleck and Norwood should have a few more.

The Fleck/ Norwood dynamic doesn’t really work as efficiently as it should. With Norwood playing so deep Fleck has to hold the centre of the park, thus restricting his forward runs.

Heresy I know but I feel Norwood spe ds too much time as a 4th CB taking 2 yard passes fron another one and playing a 5 yard pass that the substantive CBcould have made himself. Also. He seldom runs forward with the ball even when there is acres of space. I'm not sure he and Fleck compliment each other although individually I rate both.
Norwood deadball delivery is usually excellent and he has the ability to hit a TC type ball albeit not as regularly or with as much accuracy.

Looking at the league table, I’d say it’s working just fine.

Norwood needs to be a midfielder though
Nothing wrong with him sitting deeper when Basham and O'Connell go forward, but it should be him further up the pitch in general.

He'd look a better player and so would Fleck
