...and then we witness THAT Duffy goal. It's right up there with the very, very best! His overall performance is irrelevant, that's a truly top quality goal from a fantastic player at a real pressure point in the season. To be having an 'OK' game and then produce that when it's needed, is what it's all about.

Historically speaking, it's not a very Sheffield United-like goal, or a Sheffield United-like moment.

After the goal Duffy looked like the old Duffy, all across the pitch wanting the ball and dictating play, thought Fleck played a lot better as well, enjoyable to watch and lifts the confidence, if our midfield play up to there high standards we will win automatic .

Some Bladey Bladey cone lovers would make any statement to try and knock the players because they believe some miracle worker has made a crocked player something like he was and that he would make a massive difference. The thing with Duffy is that he’s one of our few players that attempts the difficult stuff.
He’s also one of our few players that tries dribbling past players and also tries intricate/ difficult through balls and passes.

Playing his style then it’s very likely that Duffy will give the ball away more than any other player
But he should be encouraged to keep trying the difficult stuff, instead of moans and groans when he gives the ball away.

I was pleased with the Forest game because the last 20 minutes we showed signs of getting back to our fluid best where we simply out pass the opposition taking the game away from them.

I don't our shooting is woeful.
I'm convinced our players are all short sighted or the goal must look like a five a side net when our players are out side the box.
And Don't get me started on crossing, i am sure if there are any stats available we would be top of can't beat the first man with our crossing chart.

Duffy's was a good goall though, he must have miss hit it.

Yes, I think the closest defender was on his heels rather than his toes, so was slightly slower in closing that he might have been. It gave Duffy that extra bit of leeway to get his shot away, despite a slightly loose touch.

Yes that's right. Before he scored the goal from the back post, he'd dropped in that position in the first half a couple of times adding to the fluidly and uncertainty for the opposition. He also received instruction from CW on the side line.
If CW has faith in the midfield then so should others.
