He gets shite from people that know nowt, the people that expected him to be coutts.

Too many people write players off too quickly. Sure berate a poor performance, but players like Lundstram come into this side and do a job when it’s needed.

He isn't a risk that's the point! He's not going to win you a match on his own but he is solid. An unfit and immobile Coutts is a much bigger risk than Lundstram who has never shirked a tackle.

For me he takes Coutts’s place on the bench as the centre-mid option for the rest of the season. He has his limitations, but currently offers more to us as a sub than current Coutts.

totally agree, i'm part of a very small minority who think he is a decent player, gets stuck in and for me a lot better on the ball than people give him credit for, yes he gives it away a bit, because he tries things others don't, not someone who will keep possession like coutts, but he would score and assist more without question

I watch, carefully, how the other players respond to Lundstram. They pass to him and they seem to enjoy 'banter' with him. I understand this group is close knit so that may not be as telling as it would with most other teams. Im sure Wilder consults a few of the senior players regarding team selection, it has happend in every dressing room I've been in. If that is the case then it indicates Lundstram is respected by the other players. Personally, I like him, as others have said, there is definitely a decent player in there. Oddly, I think he could do better in the Premier League, due to his physical presence in the tackle. These top player don't like it up em, you know.

I’m also a fan of Lunny, has an all round game, decent at most things but not great at anything, he’s currently not quite good enough for our team. However he’s still young, he just needs to slightly improve several aspects of his game then I think he’ll be some player.
