Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere but according to a few on twatter there were a few words between players and some supporters?

Duffy posted something on Instagram, about supporting the team at all times, which seems to have split opinion.

Was anyone there / see owt?

Sorry, it's a slow morning and I fancy some gossip.

Things were said, Punches were thrown, Billy and Duffy's Mrs' were on twitter to report first hand. Wilders lost the dressing room, lost the fans, lost the backing of both Chairmen and the canteen staff.

And Birra Moretti will be available on pump again next season...until the season starts.

I assumed Duffy's post was having a dig at the meltdown on Social Media/here.

He posted this:

Yes that's what I saw mate. Then a thread on Twitter where a few replies suggested there were words at the meeting too.

He's pretty much spot on to be honest.

A lot of it is just the usual hope to despair emotions that we've all gone through. Granted, every single fan would have taken this position at the beginning of the season, but it's the sheer hope that kills ya.

Wouldn't disagree with any of that.

It's also well known now that Duffy is a bit spiky and doesn't mind putting a few noses out of joint when he is questioned.

Coupled with being a solid, hard working professional. It's a good combination in my opinion. I really do like the kid.

Former scaffolder. In my experience of dealing with Scaffolders over the years, they're a straight talking bunch and they don't take any shit. They're a special breed

You'd always want them on your side.

He only did it for a few months though and packed it in when he realised how hard it was.

There is a also a rumour that he couldn't take more than two sugars in his tea, so the rest of the lads sacked him off.....

Never able to put a full shift in. Long gone when the other lads called it a day at ten past two.

From what I heard his wolf whistling to scaffold ratio was pretty poor and he had to leave.

Maybe someone called them bottle jobs in the real world?

Not sure about this. Think we need a Poll ;)

Norwood pinged a pint pot from the other side of the bar straight onto Freeman’s head.
