Adrian durham and Goughy just said they want and think Leeds will go up with Norwich and villa through the play offs. Also said we should have lost last night, which I’m not sure how he comes to that conclusion
 



The Villa fan said we were going up, Goughy was staggered that he thought we were better than L**ds.
 
Leeds are above us and Villa on a good run so it's an easy prediction to make. Still think our run in may be that bit easier so couldn't give a shit what they think, would be so good to prove them wrong.
 
Isn't Gough a Leeds fan? I know he's from Baaaarnsley but if he is he's going to say that isn't he?
 
He’ll probably say the opposite next week. That’s what he usually does. He’s beyond parody these days, I actually can’t listen to him. The other week he was digging Benitez out for not being more adventurous against Arsenal at the Emirates.
 



I think two Villa fans said we would go up auto. Let’s hope they are correct. The first ones appraisal was that he would rather face Leeds than Dem Blades in the playoffs cos up at t’lane and down at Villa we gave them a lesson (paraphrasing).
 
Adrian Durham is a fictional character who exists purely to get calls into Talksport. Goughy meanwhile supports 3 clubs and sees absolutely nothing wrong with it.

They're a good laugh but you can't take their views serious. I imagine if we go up they will say something outrageous like it's a tragedy for football or that Leeds should sack Bielsa for bottling it.

Unless Leeds did sack him, in which case they’d say they’re idiots for doing so

I used to listen to talk sport about 10yrs ago, they're still rolling out the same old shit.
 
Durham says ought to be controversial, so the fact that he is tipping Leeds over us is a backhanded compliment to us. I thought it was quite telling that the first two guests (turned off after that ) who were both Villa fans tipped us to go up with Norwich rather than Leeds. That view obviously didn't fit with Durham's agenda as he tried(and failed) to convince the Villa fans that they would have more chance o f promotion via the play offs if Leeds went up automatic.
 
I would like to know how they watched our game, the Villa game and the Man Utd game all at the same time. I imagine they've seen us about 3 times between them this season. They certainly didn't watch us last night when we were up against two Champions League matches.

Funnily enough Leeds fans think Durham hates them so he's probably slagged them off this season too. Again, he will have seen them play about 3 times.

Durham is the complete plant pot who was saying, a few weeks ago, that Bielsa's Leeds team was the best footballing team in the history of the Championship.

Anyway, a Blade called in and countered that they are not even the best footballing side in this season's Championship never mind ever, and that United would win at Elland Road. Lardhead Durham laughed at him. That panned out well for the plank.

It's incredible how these people maintain jobs in the media. I, in common with most football fans, have forgotten more about football than lame brains like Durham will ever know.
 
In March 2006 we lost at Coventry during our promotion push . Durham said that day ' Sheffield United have bottled it. Warnock has bottled it . He's got history for it.There's no way they'll go up.'

I made a mental note.

On Good Friday after Webber scored at Cardiff I rang in and( after holding for half an hour) reminded him of his comment. He flat denied ever having said that, or remotely close to that.
