Robins post match interview was brilliant. Tessa Sanderson on drugs couldn,t lob a dummy that far
 
I liked the, we've got the better of a sheffield united's best team.
 
Henderson £2m, Evans £3m. I got my O level maths and I think that adds up to £5m.
 
I thought Evans and Hendo did well today, none of the midfielders played well. Plus the defence was god awful.

The best comment from Robins was that it was near enough our full strength side. I could name 3 out of our first choice back 5 were out and one of our first team defence wasn't in his proper position.
 
There are plenty on here who criticise Blackwell's post match comments but Robins showed himself to be an absolute arse. He claimed they were playing against "nearly a full strength United side" Any lighter in defence and Paul Stancliffe would have had to make a comeback.

Davey then Robins! :) I think he'll prove himself to be a worse manager than Blamewell over the next few years. The Dingles are welcome to him.

Walker, Davies ,Fortune, Killa (Geary)
Are not a light defence .... they were just made to look light by a very good manager with a very light team ...

I think we all know we didn't pay £3 Million up front.

RS quote it when they want to defend the club against fans who say we don't spend enough, and McCabe says it when fans attack him for the same.

However every paper had it as a rising to figure at the time, I would guess all will be revealed in the next release of the figures.
 



The other one won one of the penalties and actually setup the guy who bagged two with an open net in the first half.
 
Exactly. I don't rate that front to much (especially Evans) but they did well enough tonight in front of a non-existent midfield

The vast majority of clubs in our division would snap our hands off for Henderson.

You are allowed to use any figure you like, it's just worth keeping in mind that he hasn't cost £3 Million at the moment and won't do unless we all get where we want to be. At which point I don't think we will care what he cost.

As I said just last week, if he scores 2 then people will be saying "why didn't he score 3?"

You just can't please some people when it comes to Hendo.

When people mentioned BT's scoring record it got shot down because he took pens and free kicks - still got to put them away tho ;)

I would say a starting 4 that have never played together including Fortune who hasn't played a first team game for 6 months, a loanee who has played 4 games for us, Killa not in his prefferred/usual position in front of a keeper who was not first choice at the start of the season is fairly light!

Then add a change in keeper and left back at half time bringing on Geary who hasn't played any game for 18 months hardly improves the strength.

I'm not getting this. McCabe says £3m but you say he's wrong.
Have you had access to the contract with Man City? You seem to be aware that there will be an extra payment if we were to go up - what is this payment?
