Apologies as I know there have been multiple threads about the atmosphere, and I don’t buy into ‘I’m a bigger Blade etc’ but I was in the South Stand for the Bristol City game and I was quite shocked.

The amount of people streaming out because a team that kept 7 clean sheets in a row dated to lose at home really amazed me. Some people left with 10 minutes left (including added). How can you possibly leave this team, in a game that’s already had 5 goals, early? Anything could happen.

There were also boos at the final whistle, and although I couldn’t 100% say they were directed at our performance, you can’t rule it out.

Hardly anyone was clapping them off. I know we didn’t play well, but after everything we’ve been treated to this season, I just don’t know what some people expect.

The atmosphere is always fantastic at away games though.

No boos on the kop.

More of a stunned silence followed by moderate applause.

I was actually impressed with the reactions of the masses, it's like we've accepted that we can't win every game but if the players give it their best shot we'll appreciate their efforts.

A whole new level of Blades positivity.

Boo's were aimed at the ref.

Can we all agree it’s now the ‘Tony Currie Stand’

I'd had enough. I could see it coming as soon as Johnson came on. I don't need to watch more shit and be disappointed and get more angry and upset even more people around me. Sorry.

Maybe your tired opinion would be better suited to one of the multiple threads?

Makes a change from the kop streaming out before the end when we are 4-0 up. That to me is far far worse. How you cannot stay to clap the players off after some of the performances this season is astounding.

Back to 2nd, not much to moan about yesterday so we’ll pick a moan from last week about the free will of our supporters. Cheers

Haha I did wonder if it would come across like that. I’m not moaning about it, I am a very positive fan. Just surprised me is all.

People get very sensitive if anything vaguely negative is mentioned after a win.

All clubs have their quota of fickle and at times overly negative fans. A few sit near me but they're not quite as as bad as the Preston "fan" heard on this video

Can't believe the Preston fans negativity towards their own team in this vid
Anybody slagging our fans off really wants their bumps feeling

Think you were at the wrong ground. There was NO booing at the end of the game from the South Stand, and the team WERE clapped off.
